What your grown-up can see

OpenBuddies is a bit like a classroom with your grown-up at the back. They’re there to help, and to keep you safe.

• They can read your chats and see your files and pictures.
• If you seem upset or not safe, they get a short message to check in on you. You can always talk to them, or to another grown-up you trust.
• Your buddy won’t just give you the answers. Asking lots of times, or saying someone said it’s allowed, won’t change that.
• It all stays at home. Your chats live on a computer at home, not in an app company’s cloud.
