Check alerts
If a child says something worrying, OpenBuddies raises an alert before the buddy replies. Alerts are under Alerts on your parent page, with a count beside it while any are unread.
An alert is a short summary, never your child’s own words. Open it to read the chat it came from.

OpenBuddies doesn’t send alerts to your phone yet, so check your parent page now and then.
How readily worrying messages raise an alert is set for each child with alerts.welfare.sensitivity in their
rules.yaml: high (the default) also alerts you when they seem upset, while medium and low alert you only when
something sounds worrying.
